Village of Cullom Board of Trustees
A big THANK YOU to everyone for the fantastic support in getting the water meters installed in every home and business. The past year was full of changes as we transitioned to the new monthly billing system too. Again, your cooperation is much appreciated.
A few things to remember…
The form for making ACH automatic debit payments can be found on the Village Website: villageofcullomillinois.com (select Applications/Permits tab) You will still be mailed the monthly water/garbage bill however, you will have the convenience of not having to write a check and can make sure you get your payment in on time. You can place the completed form in the drop box at Village Office.
Without timely payments, water services will be disconnected. Once a payment is received with the $50 reconnection fee, water will only be restored during normal business hours. Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Concerns with billing, or any other village issues must be addressed at a Board Meeting (7:00 PM the fourth Tuesday of every month) or at the Village Office on Wednesdays 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Discussions will no longer take place at any Board Member’s residence or place of business. Emails to firstname.lastname@example.org is the fastest way for the board to respond to any concerns, comments or questions.
If you are having trouble making any utility payment including your garbage and water. Email: email@example.com we have resources we can pass on that may be able to help.
As many know, the construction of a new water tower will begin this Spring. Expected completion is September 2023. The new tower will be next to the well at North Ash Street. Once completed, the current tower will be dismantled. It’s been a long process, but well worth it and will be a great asset for the community.
Finally… 2023 looks to be an exciting year as the Board continues working for everyone to make Cullom a great place to live.
